As your Division IV representative for Marin Municipal Water District, Erika will prioritize:
- Water Supply Reliability: Ensuring Marin has a dependable, long-term water supply as our climate grows more unpredictable. Evaluating practical, affordable, and environmentally responsible options.
- Watershed Health: Restoring streams, grasslands, and forests so our watershed can better withstand climate impacts and continue to support the ecosystems Marin depends on.
- Wildfire & Climate Resilience: Advancing responsible forest management and fuels reduction projects that protect both our ecosystems and the communities that border district lands.
- Habitat Restoration: Continuing strong stewardship of the district's lands while helping the public understand the importance of these interconnected ecosystems.
- Agency Efficiency: Embracing sound fiscal stewardship and more effective government processes — making sure ratepayer dollars are spent wisely and public projects get done on time and on budget.
- Environmentally Sustainable and Inclusive Recreation: Supporting thoughtful and environmentally sustainable recreation opportunities for hikers, cyclists, equestrians, families, and people of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds. Our district’s lands are a county treasure that contribute greatly to Marin’s quality of life, and when people connect with nature, they are more likely to value and protect it.
